Dena’ina Dinner Time

In November 2012, a group of Dena’ina people gathered to make the film you can watch below. You will hear English and Dena’ina spoken and stories about traditional foods, including how they are gathered today and in the past. Each person at the dinner brought a dish to share: moose nose soup, baked salmon, fried spruce hen, roasted beaver meat, dry fish, green beans, rice, fry bread, Indian ice cream and tea.
